Disclaimer
Though I recently performed at the Green Party Convention San Antonio chapter, my views do not necessarily reflect those of the Green Party, I'm just a whore for a gig!

Birthday Bash
My Birthday Bash yesterday was great! I want to thank everybody who participated in making it happen... Jason Tremillo and Vernon Foster from Commercial Free Project, the band Kley, Don and Reina from Java Nook and Jim Beal and Jeremy Martin for giving me some good publicity. Hope next years bash is even better!

Not gone for good....
I'm still not completely dead in the biz. Working on songwriting for commercial projects and mechanical liscensing. So fear not, all you fans of mine (all three of you)!

Trips and such
Well, overall my trip to Dallas has been fun and exciting, with a few bouts of anxiety here and there. My favorite part was visiting the Dallas Zoo on Labor Day but that's not the only place in D-Town where there are animals roaming around! But alas, I can't wait to return to my hometown of San Antonee where I can work no miracles and no one makes mention of 'The Metroplex'....

Going through Dallas
Follow my blog or Twitter this Sept. as I blaze trails through Dallas, Texas. It'll be just like Gwynyth Paltrow and the big cook guy traveling through Spain, only it'll be me and the family in Dallas

Recently outed pop star Jason Gerard feels in quite a different predicament from the days in the 60s when Rock Star David Bowie declared "I am gay, and always have been". The world is a different place now, in the 2000-what-you-ma-call-its (soon to be the 2010's), where no one seems to care if anybody is gay, straight, transgender, or in-between. But now we have Adam Lambert, the new American Idol non-winner, who though MAY have lost the vote to the clean cut, married, christian living...(I don't even wanna bother to look up his name), embodies the same essence Jason Gerard has been seeking for years, albeit on a national scale. May be Gerard doesn't have quite the reach to be noticed the way Lambert has, but he has been making, David Bow-ish, Iggy Pop-ish gender-bending rock for many years that, perhaps in his own twisted judgment, deserves some attention. With a record deal through Sonic Wave International, distributed by Sony BMG, Gerard has
some degree of credibility in even having someone hear his music out. So, please. log onto www.jasongerardmusic.com or www.myspace.com/jasongerardmusic and learn about the true gender-bender of our time, Jason Gerard
